Windows 98 SE, ME, NT4 SP6*, 2000, and XP (Windows 2000 or XP recommended. *Latest Windows Service Pack recommended for any Windows version. Service Pack 6 required for Windows NT 4)

Linux 2.2, 2.4 with Glibc 2.1 or greater
RealProducer - Preview is compatible with the following Linux distributions: Mandrake 7.2 or higher, Redhat 6.0 or higher, Slackware 7.0 or higher, SUSE 6.2 or higher, Debian 2.2r3 or higher

Minimum hardware requirements:

Pentium III, 400 MHz CPU, 256 MB RAM
Recommended hardware requirements: Pentium III or 4 (or similar) processor, 2 GHz or faster, 512 MB RAM or greater
Minimum system configuration can encode low action video at 320x240 @ 15fps to a 28 kbps and 56 kbps SureStream file (default settings) from a live device using the command line application without any degradation in encoding complexity or frame rate.

Recommended system configuration can encode high action video at 320x240 @ 30fps to a 1.50 Mbps SureStream file (default settings) from a live device using the command line application without any degradation in encoding complexity or frame rate.
