Helix Mobile Producer
Helix Mobile Producer provides standards-based live and on-demand mobile video encoding
that is optimized for wireless networks – all from a single software encoding platform.
Helix Mobile Producer is a professional-grade software encoding product for live and
on-demand delivery over broadband networks. Encoding advancements include support for multiple
source inputs, capability to simultaneously write multiple outputs per input source, enhanced
monitoring and advanced features such as Multi-Rate Live and On-Demand file creation. With
multiple outputs encoding, content is simultaneously encoded for PCs and mobile devices such
as iPhone and iPad.
When paired with the Helix Mobile Server, the platform can deliver live and on-demand
content to all mobile playback environments including: Flash Player, RealPlayer,
QuickTime X Player on the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch family of devices, and all 3GPP
compliant media players. This includes support for Apple's adaptive streaming to ensure the best
stream quality is delivered to the device regardless of fluctuations in the network's bandwidth.
